I, in my life time, have received many invitations. The one that has been the most beneficial has been the invitation to come to Christ and to know Him. It called me out of the wilderness of sin and commanded me to "camp" in His rest. It has been a constant tug in my life. A soulish call to a deeper walk. A call out of darkness into His marvelous light. The amazing thing about the invitation of God, is that the invitation can be heard and understood by a child or a person ripe in age. Both
recognize the importance and necessity of the invitation. Shhhhh. Listen. Is that Him calling our name even now? Come on, let's go see what he wants.
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30
